About Me

Hi, I’m Shivanshu Pande — a Vedic Astrologer, author, and engineer, based in India. I help people understand themselves through the lens of classical Jyotisha — the ancient science of timing, karma, and self-knowledge.

My Astrology Journey

I’ve practiced Vedic Astrology for over five years — first through self-study, then under the direct guidance of a guru. In 2025, I earned my Diploma in Vedic Astrology, formalising what had been a deeply personal devotional practice.

My approach draws from classical Sanskrit sources — Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Bhrigu Sutram, and Brihat Jataka. I’m not interested in entertainment astrology or generic horoscope content. I do classical, depth-oriented readings for people who want real understanding — about timing, dharma, relationships, and the patterns their chart reveals.

I am a Shakti-bhakt, and for me, Jyotisha is a form of sadhana — not entertainment, not prediction-for-its-own-sake. The precise mathematics of the planets at the moment of your first breath encode patterns about your life; my work is to read those patterns honestly and offer them back to you with care.

My Background

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) · BMS College of Engineering · First Class with Distinction · 2023
  • Master of Science in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence · BITS Pilani · expected 2028 · Distinction · SGPA 9.5+
  • Diploma in Vedic Astrology · 2025
  • Three years of professional experience in SAP, Cloud, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering — currently in active practice.
  • UGC NET aspirant.

The combination of classical training, computer-science precision, and devotional practice is what shapes the depth and accuracy of every chart I read.

Beyond Astrology

My professional work in software engineering, data, and AI isn’t separate from my Jyotisha practice — the same precision and care for detail informs both. The mathematics of planetary positions and the mathematics of data engineering share the same foundation: read what is actually there, not what you assume to be there. Honestly i was amazed to see similarity between Central limit theorem and astrological prediction , the art and science of prediction.

I also write — both for my personal blog and as a published author. My debut book What The Days Taught Me About Life is a collection of 21 poems exploring everyday life lessons. The first poem is featured on the homepage. Another book is on the way.

Outside academics and work, I’m an avid traveler. Over the past three years, I’ve covered more than 25,000 kilometers across India, exploring its diverse cultures, terrains, and stories. Travel deepens my understanding of dharma in lived practice. I love to meet people and listen to their life .
