Death, the Equal Hand"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Life walks uneven \u2014<br>a road carved by chance and choice,<br>where some dine on gold,<br>and others on dust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Death \u2014<br>ah, Death is the quiet evening<br>that forgets no name,<br>that knocks on every door<br>without fear or favor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It does not ask<br>if you were kind or cruel,<br>rich or broken,<br>it simply opens its palm<br>and says, <em>\u201cCome, rest.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perhaps it is kinder \u2014<br>not because it spares,<br>but because it ends<br>what life could never balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The crown and the beggar<br>share one silence,<br>the fire and the ash<br>become one color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So fear not the dark \u2014<br>for even the stars<br>burn out in peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In the end, Death stands where Life divides \u2014 reminding all are equal once more.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Note to the Reader<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This poem was meant to be the very first piece in my book.<br>Unfortunately, due to a printing error, it appeared incorrectly in the published copy. The necessary corrections are currently in process and will be updated soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Until then, I want to share this poem here as a first glimpse into the kind of writing you\u2019ll find throughout the book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This piece reflects the spirit of the collection \u2014 honest, reflective, and rooted in lived experience. It is not written to impress, but to remember.
